Hi, I am Lawren Elderkin!
I like to consider myself a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to creativity. I see it as a positive thing, kind of like a "utility player," as my high school soccer coach would say.
As a graduate of Indiana University and a Master's graduate of Florida International University and Miami Ad School, I am a Passionate and driven creative Dedicated to inspiring others through art and fostering creativity in engaging, hands-on ways. I am currently working at cintas corporation to make and save money while actively pursuing a career in the creative field, where I can cultivate artistic expression and share my love for the arts.
I like to say my creative skills come naturally, thanks to my dad (an art teacher) and my mom (a graphic designer). Growing up, I was always encouraged to explore my creative skills.
Minoring in studio art during undergrad, I've been able to play around with several different kinds of art mediums, from clay and paints to photoshop and game design.
I was also the creative director for the Indiana Daily Student at Indiana University Bloomington where I did illustrations, social media graphics, and print design. I oversaw everything from the creative desk and made final edits to all newspapers and social media posts daily.
When I'm not studying, in class, or working, I try to squeeze in as many freelance projects as possible or take my dog for a small adventure. I've helped start up businesses with creating logos and an entire brand personality, repeat cover art for hometown rap artists, and flyers for personal and professional businesses.
