As an illustrator for Indiana Daily Student, an independent student newspaper covering Indiana University, IU sports and the city of Bloomington, Indiana, I created engaging visuals for news articles when photographs were unavailable or deemed too graphic. Illustrators were tasked with creating an image that would motivate readers to click on the story, based on a brief description provided by the writer.
